About Us

EpicPokeStore was founded in the middle of 2020. The store was started when the founder wanted to start collecting again after finding his old Pokemon card collection. His collecting desires took a complete turn from singles to sealed product and so he began by slowly working through deals locally through Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji. It was very fun coming back into the community and eventually he wondered if it was possible to turn this fun and passion into a real company and brand. 

With such a strong love for sealed product, the first step was to find an authorized distributor willing to work with just a guy with dreams, as we didn't even have a website yet. After almost two years of pursuit, somehow finally two distributors were finally convinced enough to give us a chance and offer us access to product.

We began the journey of running a retail store on eBay, trying everyway to market products in a way to stand out. Competition was fierce on eBay but after almost 4 years of consistent work and continued support from the community on eBay, the store was finally doing well enough selling consistently. However, with the ultimate desire to building a brand and community, we felt with finally some stability, it was time to start the real journey to reach this goal with epicpokestore.com.
